For her husband's birthday, Dolly Parton recreates the Playboy photoshoot: 'It's always #HotGirlSummer,' she says.
Dolly Parton threw the internet into a frenzy Tuesday when she dressed up like an original Playboy bunny (ears, bow tie, and all) and wished her husband a happy birthday.
"It’s always #HotGirlSummer for my husband, Carl, 💝 Happy birthday my love!" In a sultry black bustier, black gloves, a white and pink bow tie, and bunny ears, the 75-year-old legend tweeted.
The tweet was sent at 4:40 p.m. by Parton, who has been married to her husband for 57 years.
With almost 30,000 likes in less than half an hour, the post had gone viral.
Even NFL players have expressed their admiration for DP.
"God Bless Dolly Parton. She is truly a legend." Taylor Lewan, a Tennessee Titan, replied to her message on social media.

"You're probably wondering why I'm dressed like this," the blonde-haired happy symbol explained in the one-minute and 17-second video. "I mentioned in a previous post that when I'm 75, I'm going to pose for Playboy magazine. Well, I'm 75 years old and they no longer publish a magazine."
Parton went on to explain that her husband has always adored the original Playboy cover.
"So I was attempting to make him happy in some way. After 57 years, he still thinks I'm a hot lady, and I'm not going to attempt to persuade him otherwise. I'm hoping he agrees. What are your thoughts?"
Parton revealed that she staged a picture session in the costume for her husband and had a cover produced of the "old-new Dolly."
When she was 32, Parton became the first country artist to appear on the Playboy cover, wearing the classic Playboy bunny costume, ears, and bow tie. Parton has previously shown interest in posing for the publication, which will become fully digital in March 2020.
"In the first one, I was a bit of a butterball in that one." So now I string cheese. But, perhaps, he won't mistake me for cream cheese... Do you believe Playboy should at the very least compensate me for the picture shoot? "Yes, I do."
Parton went on to say that she surprised her husband with the picture cover and sang him a Happy Birthday song.
"I. Am. In. Love. With. This. Woman." Joe Walsh, a former presidential contender, took to Twitter.
"Today, this wins Twitter," Hillary Lake wrote.

"Carl is one lucky man to receive this as a birthday present. Dolly, you DID IT! "Vilissa Thompson sent out a tweet.
Jessica Reyes wrote on Twitter, "@DollyParton is not someone we deserve. This is the very best."
Pose as a tease
In a radio interview with the BBC in October, the music legend teased the prospect once more, saying she could pose for the outlet to commemorate her milestone birthday in January.
On the inaugural day of the first Playboy Club in 1960, Bonnie Halpin was the first Playboy bunny, sometimes known as a "door bunny" or greeter.
I would give @DollyParton a kidney. She’s the ultimate 🐐 or 🐰? Either way, she’s the best. #dollyparton https://t.co/Ffc4xCAFaL
