On the fourth anniversary of Chester Bennington's death, his widow Talinda Bennington paid homage to him.

On Tuesday (07.20.21), the late Linkin Park singer's wife shared a moving Instagram post in which she spoke of his sense of humor and the "hopes and aspirations" he had for their children.

She expressed herself as follows: "You had a knack for making us all laugh. Everything was always better when you were around. And you made things nice again when you wore this lettuce cup on your head to make us laugh since our dinner was taking forever.

"I'm very grateful that the kids and I have so many photos and videos of you to remember you by. Every second of every day, we miss you

"You were the most amazing person I've ever met. Every day, I see you in our children. With her good looks and lovely voice, Lily is your mini-me.

"Tyler shares your humor, intellect, good beauty, and preoccupation with figuring out space and time. And Lila, she has your golden heart."

Talinda, who has a 15-year-old son Tyler and nine-year-old twins with her late husband, stated that the family watches "home movies" of Chester to keep his memory alive.

She said, " "You penned your hopes and aspirations for them when they were babies. God must have read what you wrote, since they are exactly what you prayed for.

"I'm sure you've seen them. I'd give anything to see you again so they could see who you are. But that's why we have home movies of our entire lives together.

"I'm pleased I didn't stop recording." We'll watch some of them today and remember how f****** incredible you were. I'm in love with you.

R.I.P."

Her touching message comes after she paid homage to Chester on his 45th birthday, which would have been in March.

"Happy Birthday," she remarked at the time. Tyler would have had you performing this dance again if you had been 45! It never becomes any easier or less difficult to live without you. We are sorely missing you. We'll honor you in a variety of ways today... Tyler is teaching the girls to dance, and it will be the first of many. We love you forever. (sic)"
