Khloe Kardashian is trying to teach her Black children — and herself – about race and acceptance.

During the "Role Model" podcast on Monday, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" actress, who has a 3-year-old daughter with Tristan Thompson, talked about how she will handle race talks.

"I'll constantly be learning and trying to do the best I can as her mother, but I'm clearly not a woman of color," Kardashian added. "However, I do want her to be exposed to as much inclusiveness, but a variation, as possible."

Despite the fact that some parents "feel uncomfortable" discussing race with their children, she believes these discussions are necessary because she does not want True to "live in a bubble."

"We do have this extremely fortunate existence, and I want her to be aware of all sorts of life and all types of living," Kardashian added.

"Even if you do live in a bubble, whomever you are, I believe it may be really startling, because when your kids are let free, they'll be sad, hurt, frightened, bewildered, and overwhelmed."

Kardashian says she doesn't want to "overexpose" or "teach them things too young" her kid, but that it's essential to "inform True while also educating myself at the same time."

"It's our responsibility as parents to really expose them while they're still safe and secure with us, to communicate that with them and still guide and help them instead of just letting them out into the free world and then they're like, 'Wait, I didn't hear about this, I had no idea this was what real life was like,'"

In September 2018, Kardashian addressed trolls who attacked her daughter's skin tone, naming individuals who allegedly removed their nasty tweets when she reacted.

“I don't like it when people make comments on my daughter's skin color, but when I respond politely and appreciate her for who she is, the comment is removed. Please allow one to defend or reply back if you have the confidence to publish your harsh criticism,” Kardashian tweeted at the time.

She went on to say that instead of shaming individuals on social media, she attempts to educate them.

“I try to put myself in their shoes,” she added, “and maybe they were raised in a different sort of home than I was.” “We don't see color in our house. We can perceive emotion as well as action. We notice love. We get our energy from energy.”
