Following a heart attack, Bob Odenkirk provides a health update fit for 'It's a Wonderful Life.'

Bob Odenkirk seldom compares himself to Jimmy Stewart.

Despite this, the grumpy "Better Call Saul" star claims to be in "It's a Wonderful Life" mode as he recovers from a heart attack on July 27.

After all, the 58-year-old "Breaking Bad" actor's friends, family, and fans were extremely concerned about him following his on-set fall and hospitalization.

"I'm feeling well," Bob Odenkirk said to his Twitter followers on August 6. "I've had my own 'It's a Wonderful Life' week, with people urging that I make the world a little better. Wow! Thank you very much."

Not that Bob Odenkirk is getting too carried away with the abundant affection akin to the joy for Jimmy Stewart's safely returned George Bailey in the Christmas classic.

"I'm in love with everyone right now, but let's keep our expectations in check!" Bob Odenkirk penned a letter.

The concern about Bob Odenkirk, on the other hand, was a fully articulated social media phenomenon.

Mr. Show has made a gradual comeback to Twitter since then, posting his own heartfelt comfort and gratitude to well-wishers on July 30. "Hi. It's Bob Odenkirk calling. Thank you very much. To my family and friends who have been there for me this week. Also, thank you for the outpouring of love from everyone who has expressed worry and care for me. It's debilitating. But I can feel the love, and that means so lot to me."

Bob Odenkrik also expressed gratitude to the physicians who cared for him and stated that he would need "a beat to recuperate."

Since then, Bob Odenkirk has reverted to his old self, retweeting fellow comedians, his kid, and making bizarre Olympic comments like, "I want to witness the 'Men's 100 metre Whistle and Skip!'"

Bryan Cranston, star of "Breaking Bad," posted on Instagram last week that Bob Odenkrik was "anxious all morning" after learning of Bob Odenkirk's death. "I love you, my friend," Aaron Paul, who plays Jesse Pinkman in the series, said on Instagram.

Since July 28, when son Nate Bob Odenkirk tweeted the simple words, "He's going to be alright," worried friends and admirers have been exhaling a sigh of relief.
