DaBaby's Instagram apologies for homophobic slurs has been removed.

an apology has received a DaLet.

DaBaby has removed his mea culpa from his Instagram page just six days after apologising for homophobic statements he made at the Rolling Loud music event.

On Sunday, social media fans discovered that the rapper's lengthy, face-saving statement from Aug. 2 was no longer visible on his account.

When Page Six contacted DaBaby for comment, a representative did not answer right away.

The Cleveland native, 29, apologised for his Rolling Loud statements on HIV/AIDS, calling them "hurtful and upsetting" and admitting that he was "misinformed."

DaBaby, whose actual name is Jonathan Kirk, also attacked social media users who chastised him before he "had the opportunity to grow, educate, and learn" from his comments, saying that they were "publicly fighting against" him.

The statement was released immediately after the organizers of Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, and numerous other music festivals withdrew DaBaby from their lineups. Many netizens suspected that the statement was written by DaBaby's crew rather than the musician himself.

The reaction followed the rapper's July 25 performance at Rolling Loud, during which he urged the crowd, "If you didn't show up today with HIV/AIDS, any of those horrible sexually transmitted illnesses that'll kill you in two to three weeks, put your smartphone light up." Put your smartphone lights in the air, if you ain't sucking n—as' d–k in the parking lot.”

Many celebrities, including Elton John, Madonna, and DaBaby's "Levitating" partner Dua Lipa, condemned his remarks. Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus volunteered to tutor DaBaby on Instagram, saying, “Would love to chat and see how we can learn from each other and help be part of building a more just and understanding future.”
