Simone Biles was moved by a new Olympic commercial promoting her comeback to the games this week, and she expressed her gratitude to the narrator, Taylor Swift.

“I'm in tears. What a unique opportunity. “I adore you @taylorswift13,” Biles, 24, replied to the emotional ad, which showed the Grammy winner expressing her adoration for the gymnast she refers to as a "hero."

Swift, 31, replied to the Olympian, "I wept to watch YOU." “I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to observe you throughout the years, but last week was a lesson in emotional intelligence and perseverance. You taught us all a lot. Thank you very much.”

Swift's ballad "This is me trying" played gently in the background as she commended Biles for prioritizing her mental health by withdrawing from the competition last week.

In the commercial, Swift states, "Her voice has been as crucial as her abilities during the previous week." “Her honesty was as lovely as the perfection that had been her trademark for so long. But don't you see what I mean? It is still the case. She's a whole human being.”

On Tuesday, Biles won the bronze medal in the Olympic women's balance beam final. Her bronze medal win was her second in a row in the event, and she now has seven Olympic medals altogether.

Jonathan Owens, Biles' boyfriend, praised her on social media shortly after, saying, "Words can't express how pleased I am of you right now!!"

Biles had missed the team final and ended up missing five events during the Tokyo Olympics.
