Meghan Markle, Thomas Markle Jr.'s half-sister, is not a favorite of Thomas Markle Jr.'s.
In the first teaser for Australia's "Big Brother VIP," Thomas, 55, brands the Duchess of Sussex, 40, "shallow." He is one of 12 "celebrity" competitors on the show.
In a teaser published on Twitter on Sunday, Thomas boasts of advising Prince Harry not to marry Meghan and portrays himself as "the biggest brother of them all."
As a video of Thomas coming out of a limo play, Thomas adds, "I fear she's going to wreck your life." “She's a superficial person.”
Thomas, who shares Meghan's father Thomas Markle, wrote a critical handwritten note to Harry ahead of the couple's royal wedding in May 2018, now 36, in which he warned the prince that it was “not too [sic] late” to turn back.
He further said that Meghan was performing "the part of a princess like a below C average Hollywood actress" and that she was "clearly not the appropriate lady" for Harry.
Thomas Jr. was not invited to the wedding, and neither was his sister, Samantha Markle, who has been vocal about her feud with Meghan.
It isn't the first time Thomas has used his half-name sister's and status for fame, and it isn't likely to be the last.
In 2019, he appeared in a beer commercial with a Meghan lookalike. The commercial showed him attempting to steal Queen Elizabeth II's crown from Buckingham Palace but instead opting for a case of beer.
“I don't believe that would bother anyone. It won't irritate anyone,” he told The Washington Post at the time, implying that Meghan and the royal family may find the ad amusing.
Caitlyn Jenner and Omarosa Manigault Newman are among the cast members of "Big Brother VIP."
