Unlike some other superstars, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson wants the world to know that he follows a rigid bathing schedule.
Johnson soon verified that she was accurate — and even revealed information about his washing habits — when a fan tweeted that he "can't possibly be one of those smelly" celebs.
The 49-year-old “Jumanji” star answered, “Nope, I'm the polar opposite of a ‘not washing oneself' celebrity.” “When I get out of bed, I take a (cold) shower to get my day started. After my workout, I had a warm shower before going to work. After I come home from work, I'll take a hot shower.”
“Face wash, body wash, exfoliate, and I sing (off-key) in the shower,” he wrote, beside a soap emoji.
Celebrities' lack of cleanliness has been a big issue recently, especially since Jake Gyllenhaal made his position public on Thursday.
In an interview with Vanity Fair to promote Prada's Luna Rossa Ocean fragrance, the 40-year-old star of "Brokeback Mountain" said, "I find bathing to be less and less essential at times."
According to Gyllenhaal, "good manners and bad breath get you nowhere," and that "there's a whole world of not bathing that is also really helpful for skin maintenance, and we naturally clean ourselves."
Meanwhile, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard recently revealed that they don't bathe their two daughters, Lincoln, 8, and Delta, 6, until they "stink."
“Once you catch a whiff, that’s biology’s way of letting you know you need to clean it up,” Bell, 41, said on “The View” Tuesday.
In July, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher confessed that they only bathed their children, Wyatt, 6, and Dimitri, 4, when they could "see the dirt on them."
