People Criticizing Coco Austin for Breastfeeding Their 5-Year-Old Daughter Get Ice-T's Reaction.
After receiving backlash for revealing that she is still nursing their 5-year-old daughter, Chanel, Ice-T has defended his wife Coco Austin.
Coco got in touch with her fans early last year after sharing an Instagram photo of herself breastfeeding Chanel, who was four years old at the time. “I think when she is ready, she will let me know,” she said when asked at what age she planned to quit. In response to a hypothetical circumstance in which Chanel still wants to be breastfed at the age of 12, Coco expressed confidence that it would stop far before that age, stating that “Europeans ween about 7.”
Coco told Us Weekly late last month that her attitude on nursing hasn't changed, even now Chanel is a year older. Coco says her kid now considers it as a "small nibble every now and then," and she asks, "Why to take it away from her?" If she doesn't want it, then that's where you put a stop to it. But I'm not going to just say no.”
She said, "Chanel still likes my boobs." “It's a significant bonding experience for a mother and her child.”
Ice-T, who may share that emotion, had a roller-coaster series of tweets that ranged from confirming that Chanel got genuine food in addition to breast milk to gleefully announcing his new moniker.
