Issa Rae shares wedding photos with hilarious posts about 'somebody's husband'

 Issa Rae deserves to be congratulated!

The "Insecure" star, who keeps a low profile when it comes to her personal life, announced her marriage to longtime lover Louis Diame on Instagram on Monday. According to a press statement from the fashion designer, Rae picked a bespoke Vera Wang gown for her wedding in the South of France on Sunday.

Rae couldn't stop herself from making jokes even at her own wedding. The actress joked about the gorgeous images on Instagram:

"A) A spur-of-the-moment picture session in a bespoke @verawanggang gown.

B) My girlfriends came to assist me, but they were all wearing the same outfit! They were completely humiliated.

C) After that, I took a few shots with Somebody's Husband."

Issa Rae on the popularity and scrutiny of 'Insecure'

Rae's wedding gown designer, Vera Wang, congratulated the couple on Instagram.

"You have an ethereal appearance. In your new life together, I wish you and Louis continuous happiness and joy "Wang added a message to her Instagram photo.

Other celebs, such as La La Anthony and Tracee Ellis Ross, expressed their support in the comments section.

Ross and Joan Smalls also used a sequence of heart emojis, while Ashley Nicole Black of "Ted Lasso" poked fun of Rae's amusing comment.

Rae's engagement rumors began in March 2019, when she was shown on the cover of Essence magazine wearing what seemed to be an engagement ring. In the same month, her "Insecure" co-stars Jay Ellis and Yvonne Orji appeared to corroborate the news.

"Because we're all on various messaging chains, we discovered things in different ways. We all found out at various times and in different ways since we chat at different times "At the time, Ellis told Entertainment Tonight.

Orji said, "‘You out here in these streets getting married, boo?!' was the common response. This was the response."

During her appearance on "The View" in April 2019, Rae deflected the rumors.
