Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 52nd birthday by going public with her romance with Ben Affleck on Instagram. Since April, the couple has been rumored to be dating. 

Jennifer Lopez chose her 52nd birthday to make her romance with Ben Affleck public. After posting a kissing photo of herself and Affleck, the singer's fans were ecstatic. Following some photos from her birthday celebration, JLo posted the shot. Despite the fact that Lopez did not tag the Gone Girl actor in the picture, he was plainly visible. In April 2021, rumors about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck dating appeared on the internet. Despite being seen together numerous times in public, the pair kept their relationship a secret until JLo's 52nd birthday. Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 52nd birthday aboard a boat. On her official Instagram account, the singer posted a few photographs. She wore a patterned sarong, an orange bikini, and a hat. The On The Floor singer finished off her ensemble with a pair of bright pink shoes and a few chains around her neck. JLo was spotted kissing Affleck while he put his arms around her in the most recent shot. She did not tag Affleck in the shot, but she did write in the caption, "5 2 … what it do …💗"

JLo also released a video from her birthday bash. She was seen posing in her beachy attire in the reel footage. She added again in the caption, "It's my birthday today. 5 2... what does it do ".. Loren Ridinger tweeted in response to the video, "Love u so much Beauty. Happy birthday! 5 2 more like 22:)".

Engagement rumors arose in April when Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck ended their previous relationship. In January, Affleck announced his separation from Ana de Armas, while JLo split from Alex Rodriguez a few months later. Since then, Lopez and Affleck have been sighted together numerous times. The last time they were spotted together was at Leah Remini's birthday party. Their relationship, however, predates April of this year, since they dated in 2002. Lopez and Affleck met on the set of Gigli in 2001 and began dating the following year. Later that year, the pair became engaged. Their relationship was short-lived, as they announced their breakup in January 2004. The couple's love for one other blossomed anew about 17 years later. According to a source close to the pair, they are trying everything they can to make their relationship work.
