The gorgeous ‘House of Gucci' promo costumes worn by Lady Gaga is to die for.
Lady Gaga stars in “House of Gucci” as Patrizia Reggiani, the murderous ex-wife of heir Maurizio Gucci.
That's some serious style.
Lady Gaga's flawlessly aristocratic depiction of Patrizia Reggiani in the new "House of Gucci" teaser, which debuted on Thursday, has fans gushing.
Ridley Scott's film, set in Italy in 1995, follows the Gucci family's founding members, notably Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver), whose horrific murder was planned by his ex-wife, Reggiani (Gaga).
The 35-year-old pop singer wears a broad array of antique gems in the video, thanks to Gucci's free access to its archives.
The big fur coat, crimson dress, and giant sunglasses Gaga wears in the trailer's opening sequence were snapped by paparazzi during production earlier this year.
We also get a closer look at the wedding gown and veil she wears to replicate Reggiani and Gucci's 1973 wedding, as well as two other bridal-worthy looks: a belted white lace midi dress and matching jacket, and a pearl-studded halter dress with a pair of diamond necklaces.
And the video gives us our first look at a few party dresses, including a disco-ready turquoise sequined number and a pink-and-black polka-dotted gown, all of which are heavily embellished.
Perhaps, like the Gucci brand, numerous necklaces were "synonymous with money, style, and power" in Reggiani's thinking.
When it comes to shoulder pads... Is it true that someone said “power suit”?
We also get a peek of Gaga as a character in a beautiful long-sleeved LBD for what looks to be a commercial for the luxury company.
The crime thriller also stars Al Pacino, Jeremy Irons, Salma Hayek, and an unidentified Jared Leto, and is based on Sara Gay Forden's book "The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed."
On November 24, “House of Gucci” will be released in cinemas and streamed on Paramount+.
