Lady Gaga turns heads in 9-inch platform heels

Lady Gaga understands how to deal with a thorn in her side.

Wearing a familiar pair of over-the-top platform heels, the "Shallow" singer towered over the New York City audience on Monday.

Gaga, 36, wore a Magda Butrym black body-con dress ($1,376) and Pleaser “Infinity 1020” boots ($112.95) with a dangling 9-inch heel.

Despite her increased height, the celebrity strutted down the sidewalk looking cool, calm and collected.

She wore Dita "Day Tripper" sunglasses ($550) and carried a boxy Marc Jacobs bag for the occasion.

Gaga has long been a fan of Pleaser's sultry, sky-high platforms, and she wore the same pair on the 2020 VMAs red carpet before switching to a white version later in the performance.

The pop artist and actress has been bringing serious style to New York City recently, dashing in a succession of elegant designer outfits earlier this month.

On Sunday, she posed on a patio wearing an ankle-length velvet Alessandra Rich dress ($2,075) with a matching chain belt ($725) and Manolo Blahnik heels ($875).
