Lauren Goodger revealed her baby daughter's name in an Instagram Story video while showing off some of the lovely flowers she has received. 

In an Instagram photo, Lauren Goodger announced the unique name of her newborn baby daughter.

The 34-year-old former Towie actress gave birth to her first child with boyfriend Charles Drury, 23, earlier this week, and she displayed her daughter's name with the bouquets of flowers she got.

The Sun has revealed that the name they have selected is Larose, according to a card accompanying one of the bunches.

The floral-inspired name is of French origin, and it refers to someone who lived in an area where wild roses thrived.

Lauren publically thanked TV psychic Sally Morgan for her beautiful gift, which went well with the flowers delivered to her.

A spokeswoman for the singer told OK! after the baby's birth earlier this week: "Mother and child are doing fantastically. Lauren and her boyfriend Charlie are really excited to spend some quality time with their new baby."

Lauren and Charles shared a photo of themselves holding their newborn girl's hand to announce the arrival of their daughter.

“Welcome to the world, our baby daughter has arrived,” she wrote. Mummy and Daddy are very smitten with you.”

“I'm very proud of you and love you both so much,” Charles, a first-time father, said on the post. I can't believe our lovely little princess has arrived.”

Lauren went silent on social media for a few days after the delivery, but then reappeared with an apology to her fans before clarifying what had happened.

“Sorry I've been quiet folks, I haven't been on my phone much, enjoying this precious time with my small family baby daughter and Charlie,” she said in a lengthy comment on Instagram.

“I just want to thank you for all the likes, comments, and DMs. I have seen them, but I haven't been on my phone as much,” she explained.

Lauren continued, "Baby girl has been receiving all of mummy's love time and care — the most wonderful prior baby girl I've ever seen, felt, smelt, and loved in my whole life."

“My life is complete..,” she concluded her comment on her post. I'm overjoyed because I know everyone is eager to meet her.”
