'Mimi' trailer: Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi deliver another hit
Mimi, starring Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi, has finally unveiled its much-awaited trailer.
The Laxman Utekar-directed film will take you on a trip with a surrogate mother, but it will be "nothing like what you're anticipating," which means it will be a comedy rather than a serious drama.
With AR Rahman's soundtrack, the film appears to be both promising and enjoyable.
What is the plot of the trailer?
Tripathi opens the teaser video by informing Sanon about the amazing bond that exists between a mother and her kid.
After that, he attempts to persuade her to have a kid by explaining what surrogacy entails. Sanon responds affirmatively when the couple agrees to pay Rs 2 lakh for the service.
However, when Sanon is significantly pregnant, they violate the agreement, resulting in heartbreaking scenes.

The director demonstrates how surrogacy is still a foreign concept.
Utekar's goal with this video is to explain surrogacy to the audience while also showing how this term is still new to a significant segment of the population.
It's hinted to in the trailer, when Sanon's parents repeatedly inquire, "Who's the father?"
In terms of performances, it appears that the Bareilly Ki Barfi and Luka Chuppi co-stars will enchant us once more.
The performances of both Tripathi and Sanon are delightful to see.
While the film deals with a serious subject, the skill with which it is delivered to the viewer is commendable. Tripathi's lines and facial expressions will make you giggle nonstop, while Sanon's portrayal as the surrogate seems promising, raising the stakes for the picture.

Netflix and Jio Cinema will debut the social comedy.
Along with Sanon and Tripathi, Manoj Pahwa, Supriya Pathak, and Sai Tamhankar appear in Mimi.
On July 30, the Heropanti actress will debut her first female-centric production on Netflix and Jio Cinema.
Dinesh Vijan, who has worked with Sanon in Raabta, Luka Chuppi, Arjun Patiala, and the upcoming Bhediya, produced the social comedy, which is presented by Jio Cinema and Maddock Films.
