SHAUN has released an electro pop remix of Ed Sheeran's hit song "Bad Habits."

On August 6, Warner Music Korea released a remix of Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" starring SHAUN. The original song, which was published in June, has a catchy melody and a fast-paced beat, and it has continuously been at the top of Billboard's primary single chart, the 'Hot 100,' and has become a worldwide success. The debut song from Ed Sheeran's fifth studio album, which is yet unnamed, is titled "Bad Habits."

The original song had an energetic tone and dance music, but SHAUN's remix gives it fresh electronica feel and late-2010s house music, which complements Sheeran's beautiful voice wonderfully. Electronic synthesizers, a basic melody line, and a clever drop including Ed's voice combine for a fantastic tune! The lead single from Sheeran's upcoming fifth studio album was supposed to be a slower acoustic tune. When the COVID-19 pandemic limitations in England were eased in early 2021, Sheeran decided to record "Bad Habits" and release it instead. "I was thinking, 'I'm not sure whether the world needs another gloomy tragic story.'" , a slow acoustic song when it's all opening up'", Sheeran said. He wrote the song in January 2021 to "surprise people" and "make something that was totally different" from what is expected of him.

Kim Yun-ho, better known by his stage name SHAUN, is a singer-songwriter, music producer, and DJ who was born on January 12, 1990. He made his debut with the indie rock band The Koxx as the pianist and backing singer in 2010. His solo single "Way Back Home" surprisingly topped South Korean music charts in July 2018. The music was cheerful and lighthearted, yet the lyrics were devoted to a loved one who had died in a sad accident. That was his final solo tune, and he has been in and out of the business since then, collaborating with prominent artists like OVAN and KSHMR on rare occasions, but most recently, in May 2021, he released his double single album with the title song 'Closed Ending.'
