Late in James Gunn's "The Suicide Squad," one of the most spectacular sequences occurs.

As she hangs from a ceiling, Harley Quinn's (Margot Robbie) hands are clasped together. Harley snatches the keys with her bare feet after murdering one of her captors and contorts her body easily, turning her toes backward to insert the key into the lock over her head, unlock it, and drop straight on the ground.

When director James Gunn talked about the sequence on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in July, he remarked, "The toughest thing I asked her to do was something I never imagined she'd be able to accomplish."

"She's like a human Swiss army knife," he added, "who was able to turn herself back to achieve this." "Watching this sequence with her flipping backward was just beyond fantastic, and I was so thrilled that it worked," Gunn said after rewatching the scene in the editing room. You probably wouldn't know it because Robbie's face is hidden in the scene by lace on her dress.

"You have this tiny cuff on your clothing that hides her face and makes it appear like a stunt person, but it's Margot performing it in the movie," Gunn explained. "Honestly, my biggest regret in the entire film is not going in there with the scissors, but I was so enthralled by what you were doing that I didn't notice."

"That was me," Robbie explained, adding, "I'm extremely skilled with my toes. I believe I could braid someone's hair with my toes." "I could pick a lock no problem."

When Gunn first ran it past Robbie, he assured her not to worry about it and that they'd trim it to make it work, and she told him she thought she could handle it.

They feared someone else might have to execute the part because Robbie was required on another shoot at one point. However, Robbie stated that the film's editor, who also worked on "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood," could detect the difference between Robbie's feet and those of another actor, implying that it would not work.
