Producer Asit Modi promises the return of Daya Ben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah; will Disha Vakani return?

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of India's most popular programmes. Disha Vakani, who plays Daya Ben, has been eagerly anticipated by fans. She hasn't been on the show since 2017. Fans adored the nok-jhok and humour between Dayaben (Disha Vakani) and Jethalal (Dilip Joshi). The producers have already stated that the character of Daya Ben will be brought back for audiences. She was seen going to her mother's house and other places. Fans should be pleased with this. Producer Asit Kumarr Modi has stated that the character of Jethalal's wife would be brought back.

According to ETimes' Asit Kumarr Modi, "There's no reason why Daya Ben's persona shouldn't be brought back. However, we have all had rough circumstances recently. For all of us, the years 2020-21 were quite difficult. However, now that things have improved, in 2022, koi bhi acche samay par, we will bring back the character of Daya Ben, and audiences will once again see Jethalal and Daya Bhabhi's antics." However, he expressed doubts about Disha Vakani's ability to reprise her role as Daya Ben. He claims she is now preoccupied with her responsibilities as a housewife, and her priorities have shifted.

According to Asit Kumarr Modi, "I'm not sure if Disha Vakani would reprise her role as Daya Ben. We have a great relationship with Disha ji, and we are like family. However, now that she is married and has a child, everyone is preoccupied with their own obligations." He stated that she had a personal life and that he was unable to remark on it. "Lekin joh bhi Disha Ben or Nisha Ben," he said, "but you will undoubtedly get to Daya Ben, and we as a team will do our best to provide you with the same enjoyment that we provided you previously."
