Dilip Kumar : The Tragedy King Top 10 Films

Dilip Kumar, the original Khan of Bollywood, has appeared in roughly 60 films during the course of his six-decade career. In the 1950s, nine of his pictures were among the top 30 highest-grossing films of the decade. Here's a list of his top ten Hindi films.

Devdas (1955)
The film is based on the Saratchandra Chattopadhyay tale and stars Dilip Kumar as a tragic lover. This is regarded as one of his most accomplished performances. Devdas was also named second on Corey K. Creekmur's Top 10 Bollywood Films list at the University of Iowa.
Naya Daur (1957)
The film directed by BR Chopra was a commercial and critical triumph.
Madhumati (1958)
Dilip Kumar and Vyjayantimala appeared in Bimal Roy's classic film. It was one of the first films to tackle the subject of reincarnation, and it had a gothic noir air to it.
Mughal-e-Azam (1960)
He played Prince Salim in a historical drama in which he added a fresh dimension to the love scenes he enacted with Madhubala, who played Anarkali.
Ganga Jamuna (1961)
Dilip Kumar exclusively directed and produced this film. The plot revolves around an unwitting man who is compelled to become a thief. In the film, Dilip Kumar played one of his best parts.
Ram Aur Shyam (1967)
Dilip Kumar returned with a bang with the successful film Ram Aur Shyam after a dismal run at the box office.
Shakti (1982)
It was significant for being the first and only time legendary performers Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan appeared on screen together. The film is widely recognized as filmmaker Ramesh Sippy's best effort and one of the greatest films in cinema history.
Mashaal (1984)
Dilip Kumar portrayed a law-abiding person who seeks vengeance through crime.
Karma (1986)
Following the success of their last film together, Vidhaata, Subhash Ghai, and Dilip Kumar reunited for this film (1982). It was Dilip Kumar's first time working with Nutan.
