Christina Applegate, an Emmy Award winner, has revealed that Christina Applegate has multiple sclerosis, calling her diagnosis a "difficult path."
The 49-year-old actress, best known for her performances in "Married... with Children" and "Dead to Me," claimed Christina Applegate was diagnosed "a few months ago" in a tweet late Monday.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a disease that affects the nervous system and causes physical and cognitive deterioration.
According to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, more than 2.3 million people worldwide have been diagnosed with MS. According to the nonprofit organization, almost 1 million persons over the age of 18 in the United States have been diagnosed with MS.
Applegate had a Tony Award nomination for the musical "Sweet Charity" and earned an Emmy for a guest appearance on "Friends" in 2003. "The Sweetest Thing," "Anchorman," "Hall Pass," and "Bad Moms" are among her flicks.
Christina Applegate previously spoke about her fight with breast cancer in 2008, following which Christina Applegate underwent a double mastectomy as well as the removal of her ovaries and fallopian tubes.
