Kanye West is rumored to be releasing a new LP this week
Kanye West is expected to release a new album in the near future.
The hip-hop veteran supposedly played his first album since 2019's 'Jesus Is King' to himself and basketball superstar Kevin Durant over the weekend, according to social media sensation Justin Laboy.
Justin wrote on Twitter: "Last night in Vegas, Kanye performed his new album for me and @KDTrey5. Listen up, man! The production is well ahead of its time, and the bars sound like he's broke and hungry and attempting to be signed once more. Any artist planning a release in the near future should postpone it #Respectfully (sic)."
The record was also dubbed "album of the year" by the online celebrity.
In terms of a release date, Justin stated that fans would be able to hear the album as soon as this week.
He said, " "The Kanye West album is finished. We're probably not going to listen to anything else for long after it drops this week. Until then, let me appreciate all of the current artists I'm listening to. God bless #Respectfully (sic)"
It was also claimed that a listening party was held in Las Vegas, with attendees taking to social media to post photos from the event.
Kanye West, who has been dating model Irina Shayk in recent weeks following his separation from ex-wife Kim Kardashian West, was supposed to release his next album, 'Donda,' last year, but fans have yet to hear it.
The collection will be named after the 44-year-old rapper's late mother, Donda West, and will be launched on July 24, 2020, according to the 'Stronger hitmaker.
However, he then revealed a new list of tracks that would appear on the album, with his recent Travis Scott-featured single, 'Wash Us In The Blood,' no longer appearing on the 12-track album.
