Kourtney Kardashian let Travis Barker chop off her hair

Travis Barker's hairstyling abilities extend beyond braiding.

On Thursday, the Blink-182 drummer attempted a more comprehensive hair makeover, cutting off what looked to be a significant amount of girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian's brown locks.

“Haircuts by @travisbarker,” the Poosh creator captioned a shot of her chopped locks on the floor on Instagram Stories.

Although she has yet to reveal the finished result, based on the size of the pile, the makeover was not a minor one.

While the actress has experimented with shorter hairstyles in the past, she has been keeping her hair longer in recent months.

Barker, 45, has braided her waist-length waves several times, and Kardashian, 42, has proudly shown his hairstyling skills on Instagram. 

Despite Kardashian's reluctance to accept it, many feel her new lover has a greater influence than her hair. She's been wearing noticeably edgier outfits since they started dating in January, including one particularly NSFW shirt.

She's even started digging her teeth into new items recently, making diamond fangs a go-to date-night accessory – months after Barker joked on Instagram, "Dogs never bite me." “We are only humans.”

The couple's heated affair appears to be taking a serious turn, with engagement rumors circulating when Kardashian wore wedding Minnie Mouse ears to Disneyland.

While insiders verified to Page Six that the two aren't officially engaged, their proclivity for PDA hasn't diminished. Whether Kardashian is straddling Barker in the studio or sneaking a smooch at a UFC bout, the celebrity pair is regularly seen locking lips in public.

She seemed to have kissed her long hair farewell in addition to kissing her beau.
