Drew and Jonathan, the renowned Property Brothers, are still at it on HGTV, and their newest program includes celebrities "expressing appreciation" to people around them with house improvements as a present. On the latest episode of Celebrity IOU, Darren Criss plays a Hollywood A-Lister, but who is the manager to whom he gives a house makeover?

Darren Criss is said to have worked with his manager since the beginning, and the two have only grown closer. Recently, Darren's manager executive produced Royalties, a short-form TV series on which they collaborated. Darren's connection with his management has clearly progressed beyond purely professional.

On 'Celebrity IOU,' Darren Criss transforms his manager's home as a "Token of Appreciation."

Ricky Rollins is Darren Criss’s manager.

Ricky Rollins is Darren's manager, and he receives a house renovation from him, therefore he must be important to him. “The Brothers Property helped me aid a person who's helped me whole heaps,” Darren says in an Instagram post about thanking Ricky on Celebrity IOU. If it weren't for [Ricky Rollins], I wouldn't be where I am now. I figured the very least I could do was make his garage look nice.”

Ricky has only been with his current management business, Hyphenate Creative Management, since 2016, yet he could have been managing Darren Criss for much longer. After playing Harry Potter in A Very Potter Musical, Darren rose to fame.

As a result, Darren is (kind of) compensating Ricky for his time. “Ricky has dedicated an unimaginable amount of time — more time than I feel I deserve — away from his wife and his child to make my goals come true,” Darren said in a news statement. This is only a little measure of my gratitude for everything he's done for me.” So he offers Ricky his dream home office, plus a little (or a lot) extra.

Ricky Rollins has his own family to care for.

Ricky and his wife, Amanda, live in California. Ruby was born in 2016 after the couple married in 2012. He doesn't share much about his family on Instagram in order to keep their life private, although he did remark in an Instagram post that Ruby may be the "Future Class Clown of 2034."

In 2020, Darren Criss and his manager worked on a music mockumentary series for Quibi.

Ricky rose through the ranks of management, executive producer, and even actor in the television series Royalties. He revealed on Instagram while advertising the concert that he studied in Music Industry at USC. Now he's working on a satirical program about the music industry, and he's "going full circle."

“This is a programme that Darren and I have wanted to make for a long time...,” he wrote. I've always known Darren can accomplish anything, but seeing him in action on this programme has been fantastic. I witnessed a side of him that even I had never seen before, from creating the music to producing to editing to directing VFX shots / concepts.”
