Dizzee Rascal has been charged with assault in South London.
Following an altercation in south London, rapper Dizzee Rascal was charged with assault.
According to the Metropolitan Police, the alleged event occurred on June 8 at a domestic location in Streatham.
According to the police, a woman suffered minor injuries.
Dizzee, whose actual name is Dylan Kwabena Mills, is appearing at Croydon Magistrates' Court on September 3.
“Dylan Mills, 36, of Sevenoaks, Kent, has been charged with assault following an incident at a domestic home in Streatham on June 8,” the Met said in a statement.
“Officers responded, and a woman stated that she had minor injuries. She didn't need to go to the hospital.
“Mills is scheduled to appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court on September 3.”
Dizzee is scheduled to appear at South Facing Festival 2021, Crystal Palace Park, and Lydiard Park in August, according to his website.
