In a rare NYC appearance, Julia Roberts and her husband Daniel Moder clasp hands.
On Monday, Julia Roberts and her husband, Daniel Moder, went for a romantic stroll across Manhattan.
The long-married pair, who are rarely seen together in public, walked through Midtown holding hands.
The star of "Eat, Pray, Love" wore black sunglasses, a face mask, a dark dress, and boots, while Moder dressed casually in a black shirt and trousers.
Later in the day, the pair was spotted strolling around the Upper East Side following a trip to Ladurée, a renowned French bistro where Roberts purchased some treats—though it's unclear if she bought any of the restaurant's famous macarons.
After attending the Cannes Film Festival with their 16-year-old daughter Hazel, who made her red carpet debut at a screening of Sean Penn's new thriller "Flag Day," on which Moder contributed as cinematographer, the couple took a stroll in public.
In July, Moder, 52, and Roberts, 53, marked their 19th wedding anniversary by posting rare selfies on their Instagram profiles.
“Today marks the beginning of our 20th year of marriage. He captioned his flashback snapshot, "This photo was taken on a dusty road before that huge idea... simply holding on to this lovely child one day at a time." “One spectacular day at a time,” says the narrator.
In 2000, the Oscar winner and Moder met on the production of her film "The Mexican." On July 4, 2002, in Taos, New Mexico, the two married.
Hazel and Phinnaeus, 16-year-old twins, and Henry, 14-year-old son, are the couple's children.
